NEMT earned a 2012 KLAS score of 92.7 out of 100!

December 15, 2012

WOOLWICH, MAINE: For the second year in a row, the Maine-based medical transcription firm NEMT has been awarded high marks with the release of the “2012 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Services” report ©.

The report, published by the impartial and prestigious KLAS research group, gives NEMT exceptional scores for 2012.

In its second year included in the research, NEMT received:

  • 92.7 out of 100 - overall performance
  • 8.7 out of 9 -- "money's worth"
  • 100% - "Would you buy from this vendor again?"

NEMT provided its entire client list to KLAS, which conducts all surveys confidentially.

NEMT (New England Medical Transcription) was listed as a regional company in the early data set. This means that while NEMT serves clients all over the United States, its primary concentration is in New England so the company was not eligible for the Best in KLAS Award.

“Just getting on the KLAS list is an honor but to earn above-90 scores two years in a row is a major accomplishment,” said NEMT CEO Linda Sullivan. “Our team has once again proved that a mid-sized company can deliver exceptional client satisfaction.

KLAS is an impartial research firm that collects survey data in the healthcare field. KLAS researchers interview a sample of the clients provided by companies like NEMT, then search for possible additional clients and ask them all how satisfied they are with the service they receive. The surveys are anonymous so vendors do not know how particular clients responded.

The results are then aggregated for publications, such as the current “2011 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Services” report.

“NEMT doesn't offshore any of our work,” said NEMT President Linda Allard, who is directly responsible for the company's operations. “Our team is made up of all-domestic transcriptionists who average more than 15 years of experience. We start with highly-skilled and experienced MTs and we work hard maintain good morale, which translates into high productivity and client satisfaction.”

This strategy has paid off on several fronts. In addition to earning high KLAS scores, NEMT was also named the 2012 Employer of the Year by the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI).

“We are all very proud of our team,” said Sullivan. “Their commitment has enabled us to consistently provide fast and accurate medical transcription with guaranteed results.”

NEMT provides the industry’s most comprehensive money-back guarantee for accuracy and turnaround time. The company's average accuracy rate for 2012 was 99.22% and the average turnaround time rate was 99.83%.
